Samsung D-Xenon 12-24mm f/4.0

Nice and wide

I love this lens, I love wide angle and until I got my 10-17 fisheye, this was my workhorse lense. It is solid and heavy, but nice to use. Pretty sharp and not much distortion unless you point it up at buildings etc. Pretty resistant to flare as well (which is lucky, as I lost the lens hood in the Norwegian fjords, cannot get a proper replacement so have had to trim a 3rd party one to stop it vignetting). (If you are interested in infra-red photography, the Samsung version of this lens does have a bit of a hotspot, but it is not too bad and will not affect normal use, you have to use a special filter for infrared photos). You might want to enquire about packaging though, my version (not from amazon) arrived in bubble wrap rattling about in the box. Seems to have survived though, this is a nicely made lens.
