The smc FA zoom 80mm~200mm f/2.8 lens is a moderate to long telephoto lens flexible enough to use in a variety of situations including sports and portrait photography. It provides a maximum aperture setting of 2.8 throughout the zoom range and incorporates a high-refraction extra low dispersion (ED) glass element to produce a high-resolution, high-contrast image with true-to-life color rendition. Like all PENTAX lenses, this lens features smc coating to maximize light transmission and produce sharp, high-contrast images while minimizing flare and ghost imaging.
